Great to have you here!

I’m Emese Viktória Balogh, a Breathing Coach at Légzésszelidítő.🫁

Since 2014, I’ve been dedicated to improving the physical health and condition of those who turn to me for help. I started my career as a bodybuilder and fitness trainer, even though I was quite uncoordinated in most physical activities as a child. I continued my studies as a functional trainer, which allowed me to gain even more knowledge in the field of basic human movements. My experiences have shown that people need to be retrained in proper movement patterns before we can safely add weight to their hands.

Initially, it was my curiosity about asanas (yoga postures) that led me toward yoga, but I had always been receptive to its deeper philosophy as well. I wanted to learn this ancient knowledge from an authentic and credible source, and at a high level. That is why my path led me to the Bhaktivedanta College of Theology, where I spent several years completing the Vaishnava Yoga Master program, a state-accredited three-year undergraduate degree.

During this time, my son was born, which gave me the opportunity to personally apply and test what I had learned in the prenatal and children’s yoga specialization. Around this period, I further expanded my knowledge in children’s yoga through the Jóga Móka system, where I completed a foundational children’s yoga instructor training, followed by a movement development module focused on supporting children with atypical development. Eventually, I also gained experience in developing partial skills (learning abilities).

In 2023, in my thesis, I explored the question of what primarily motivates people in present-day Hungary to attend their very first yoga class. I consider this worth mentioning because I also conducted my own research on the topic through an online survey, examining the characteristics of yoga practitioners in Hungary at a level of detail that had not previously been addressed.

The path of my own healing

During my college years, I discovered the Buteyko Method due to my dependence on nasal spray, and it completely changed my life.

Yogic breathing techniques are also highly effective; however, the Oxygen Advantage and Buteyko breathing methods can be applied in different ways, allowing me to support a wider range of people in learning how to use their breath to improve both their mental and physical health. I continuously educate myself so that I can share the latest scientific findings and the most effective methods.

In my courses, alongside the theoretical foundations, I place great emphasis on practical training and personalization. My online lectures and programs are interactive, engaging, and easy to follow.

In my children’s courses, I actively involve parents in the process—they participate in the program and carry out the daily practices together with their child. I place special importance on leading by example, fostering smooth cooperation, and practicing assertive communication.

As a mother, for mothers

I am deeply committed to supporting healthy breathing in children, and it is a personal mission of mine to share valuable knowledge with as many parents as possible. As the mother of a preschool-aged boy, I have a clear understanding of the challenges children face today, and I truly empathize with the everyday experiences of mothers.

That is why I am actively present across various social media platforms, sharing educational content.

I lead all my trainings with a unique, personalized approach, as each participant arrives with different needs. Through continuous support, private consultations, and social media groups, I ensure that everyone can make the most of what they have learned.

I believe that a healthy lifestyle and mental well-being go hand in hand, and I am happy to help others find this balance as well.

During my instructor training, it became clear where my boundaries lie as a breathing coach, and what additional support my clients need in order to receive truly comprehensive health care. That is why I began building a professional team, with whom I work closely to collaboratively design personalized therapeutic processes.

Currently, our professional team includes a pediatric dentist, an orthodontist, a craniosacral therapist, a speech and swallowing therapist, and a movement development specialist, working together with me.

This is a truly exceptional collaboration, from which those who turn to us can greatly benefit—and it is something that is still quite rare to find in Hungary.

It’s incredibly important not to push a myofunctional trainer while a child is still dealing with regular nasal congestion. Or to avoid only realizing afterward that the beautiful results of orthodontic treatment have been compromised by an undiagnosed tongue thrust swallowing pattern—costing a significant amount of money in the process.

This is exactly what we prevent. From the very beginning, we assess all such underlying issues, and only then design the therapeutic plan. As a result, the process is always optimized and tailored to the individual’s condition, needs, and life situation.

During our collaboration, I have gained extensive knowledge in dental and speech therapy fields, significantly expanding my expertise.

I am a member of the international organization Airway Circle, which I was the first to join from Hungary, and I currently represent my country as its only professional member. I learn from leading experts around the world and integrate this knowledge into my trainings. Using the most up-to-date methods, I support my clients in achieving lasting results as quickly as possible.

The organization aims to shed light on the interconnections between breathing and sleep-related fields, share the most up-to-date methods with its members, and connect professionals from different disciplines to collaborate as a team in solving individual cases.
